These are some really good people and they're working their butt off too. It's a shame because if I could be paid just 2 or 3 more dollars an hour and given enough coworkers during my entire shift I wouldn't be on this app searching for another job. Working here you're going to have to set boundaries and not feel guilty about it even when you get some annoyance in response. If you offer to stay later, or do anything extra for anyone you're suddenly expected to do it forever. Some days you will be alone without a break or assistance or a way to contact a manager without walking over and trying to find them in person. Your coworkers will call out on you and very rarely will you get someone to replace them that day. Which would be fine if you got a raise for doing the work of more than one person but you don't. The amount people seem to quit or move outlets is often, and the ability to move up is very hard if you're too useful to keep at ground level. I think the biggest issue I have when I work here is that I'm always working in a short staffed outlet for a pay that doesnt compare to the high maintenance customers and stressful workload. This place can get very busy, especially weekends and holidays, which you will always have to work during, and with that you dont receive holiday pay. While at first glance the paid time off given seems generous, the main issue with scheduling it seems to be theres never anyone to cover for you during the time gone.
